11 weeks old!

As of 7/22, I am 11 weeks old! Some new things I am into are humping my white furry ball, doing my tricks (sit, down, stay, off) for treats, sleeping in funny positions in my dog bed, playing with my new ocean themed chew toys (Sharky, Starfish and Clown Fish) spending more time at work with Mom and working on going to the bathroom outside consistently. Sometimes I don't let anyone know that I have to pee and just squat right on the carpet! For some reason, this makes Mom and Dad sad and frustrated...oops! But, I'm trying, I swear!!!

Bath #2

Here I am during and after my second bath. I really hate the water, but luckily I am small and don't take long to lather up and rinse off. Now my coat is silky and I do look pretty good, if I do say so myself.

Allergic Reaction

On Monday I went to the vet for a second round of immunizations. I totally hate needles! Anyway, once I got home I was pawing at my eyes a lot and they were really red so Mom got nervous and took me back to the vet's office. I felt so sick that I vomited in my Sherpa bag on the ride over. Turns out I had an allergic reaction to one of the shots and had to get two more to make it stop!!! OUCH!!! Mom was really nice to me afterward and I even got to hang out w/ her on the couch while I was recovering. Sweet!

My Fun Weekend

This weekend Mom's friends from New York came to visit and they were a lot of fun! They came over for dinner and played with me until I was totally pooped! The next day, I went on my first ride in a canoe! At first I was scared, then curious...then just tired. It was really pretty up there at Piney River Ranch. I want to go back sometime, maybe when I'm a little bigger and can go on a hike!

Grilling

Hi Everyone! Last night I grilled for the first time and made some delicious chicken with the help of my Dad. He showed me all the ins and outs of the art of grilling. I had a fun time hanging out outside on the patio and checking out the flower beds. Check me out in these new pics!

Work!

Whew...this work stuff is hard! Here I am "working" with my Mom. Although I thought her papers and keyboard were super fun at first, I quickly grew tired of them and decided to take a quick snooze. Maybe I'm worn out from my visit to the Vet, which went great, by the way. I got an A+!

My new life so far...

Life in Colorado is great! My new hobbies include desperately trying to chew on my Dad's mocassin slippers and my Mom's hair, chilling out on my awesome blue dog bed, following Mom and Dad everywhere they go, playing with all my toys and trying my hardest to get up on the couch! I'm starting to learn the meaning of this word I hear over and over again -- NO. Today I go to the vet to get checked out. Here are some photos of me in my new home!

Leaving Arizona

Hi Everyone! Here is a photo taken right before I left Arizona! Don't we make a cute family?
I took my first plane ride and did so great! I also slept the whole way up to Vail in the car. It was a very long day...I was so tired, I slept the entire night in my crate without making a peep!

Heading Home...

I am patiently waiting for Saturday morning when I get to meet my human parents! They are flying in from Colorado to pick me up and I am so excited! I'm going to have a fun life living in the Rockies and experiencing new and exciting things! For now, I'm just enjoying my last few days with Charlie, Dee and all the other dogs while I wait for Danielle & Bob to bring me home. I'll post some pics of my first day at home and maybe even of my first airplane ride...hope I don't throw up in my Sherpa Bag!
